Her son, Chauncey W. Bauer, operates the Fordney hotel. Elizabeth Mason, born in 1863 in Saginaw, attended school and college in Saginaw and was married in 1885 to William J. Bauer. She studied music and painting and was known for her oil painting work. She was a member of the White Shrine, Order of the Eastern Star, and St. Paul's Episcopal church. She leaves a brother, William Mason; two sons, Chauncey W. and Chester M. Bauer, and a grand daughter, Miss Nancy R. Bauer of Saginaw. The funeral will take place at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Case chapel. Dr. Henry W..
