Dorothea Ingersoll

Age 84, died Wednesday, January 7, 1998 at Gratiot Community Hospital.  She was 
born July 2, 1913 in Bay City, the daughter of William and Melvina Werner.  She 
lived in the Central Michigan Area for 20 years, coming from Bay City.  In the 
1960's she worked for five years as the manager of the Goodwill in Bay City.

She is survived by daughter, Sandra (Dale) Hecht of Saginaw, MI; son, Roger 
(Janet) Metzgar of Cold Springs, TX; 8 grandchildren and several great 
grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Moser of Lansing, MI.

She was predeceased in death by her first husband, Gilbert Metzgar; second 
husband, Clare Ingersoll; brother, Ernest Werner; and sister, Violet Thurau.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at Lux-
Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home in Alma, with Rev. Ray Merritt of the Ferris Center 
Church of Christ officiating.  Inerment will be in Ferris Center Cemetery.  
Visitaion will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
