(Reder) Karbowski June 10, 1903 - October 6, 2014 Karbowski, Esther A. Linwood, Michigan Mrs. Karbowski 101 passed away peacefully at her home Monday October 6, 2014 following a lingering illness. She was born in Beaver Twp. on June 10, 1913 to the late Phillip and Katherine (Janowicz) Reder. She married Edmund Karbowski on May 10, 1935 at St. Valentines Church where she was a lifetime and the oldest member of the parish. She is survived by seven children Donald (Marlene) Karbowski of Palmetto, Florida, Georgiann (Gene) D'Arcangelo of Sun City West, Arizona, Edwina (Louis) Lanczak of Bay City, Thomas (Diane) Karbowski of Leesburg, Florida, Eileen (Elmer) Tackman of Essexville, Richard (Patti) Karbowski of Pinconning and Carol (Dan Rechsteiner) Cunningham of Kawkawlin; also 15 grandchildren Kevin, Kyle, Lisa, Sandra, Tom, David, Brian, Ken, Sheri, Tracey, Tina, John, Jason, Amy and Heather and 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; brothers Edmund (Helen) Reder, Wally (Dorothy) Reder; a sister Gladys Christie; brother in law Eugene Karbowski and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edmund Karbowski, 2 grandchildren Laurie Gonzales and Ron LaFave, one great grandchild Kyla; brothers Raymond, Otto and Mike Reder; sisters Edith Englehart, Jean Haut, and Sally Rezmer and her father & mother in law John & Frances Karbowski. The Family would like to thank the many Hartland Health Caregivers who over the years have given mother many hours of kind and compassionate Care "God Bless You All". Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday October 10, 2014 at 11 am from Prince of Peace - St. Valentine's Campus with Rev. Fr. T.J. Fleming & Deacon Michael Arnold presiding with burial in the church cemetery. Family will greet friends at the Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 3 to 8 pm. On Friday Mrs. Karbowski will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of Mass.
