Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Mich. October 28,
l999

Opal M. Mason, age 58 of Bay City, passed away Saturday, October l6,
1999 at the Bay Medical Center in Bay City.  Opal was born the daughter
of Martin E. and Mae Amelia (Watson) Smith on July 19, 1941 in Almont.
    Opal is survived by six brothers; David of Douglas, Wy, Leonard of
San Pedro, Ca, Ernest of St. Charles Ill, Arnold of Evart, Joseph of
Tacoma, Wa and Harry of Lonita, Ca; three sisters: Lila (Marvin) Losher
of Taylor, Ella Jane (Brian) Butts of Holly and Cheryl (Guy) McGowan of
Grand Rapids.
    Services took place Friday, October 22, 1999 at l:00 p.m. at the
Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with Pastor John Wagenschutz officiatihg.
Burial was in the Wise Twp. Cemetery in Loomis.  Arrangements by the
Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home of Clare.
