Pfundt, Arthur J.
Bay City, Michigan

Mr. Pfundt passed away Thursday evening March 13, 2003 at Bay Shores Nursing 
Home, age 85 years.  The son of the late John and Henrietta Schutt was born 
June 7, 1917 in Bay City.  He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.  He was 
retired from Grey Iron Foundry in Saginaw and member of Local #668.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan J. and Robert G. Evans of 
Traverse City.  his former daugher-in-law, Sandra Hecht of Saginaw; his 
grandchildren: Mark (Patricia) Evans, Brian Evans all of Traverse City, Jeannie 
(Ronald) Binsfield of Bay Del, WI.  Ann (Joe) Middleton of Bay City, James 
Pfundt of Munger, William (Laura) Pfundt of Burt and Sharon (Chad) Staudacher 
of Tecumseh, MI; his great grandchildren: Amanda, Heather, Jonathon, Joseph, 
Thomas, Jacob, Ashley Corrin, Brendan and Leah; two step-grandsons, Ronald and 
Michael; his brother-in-law, Charles Burns of Bay City.  In addition to his 
parents he was also predeceased by his wife the former Lillian J. Pake whom he 
married January 6, 1939, his son, Michael Arthur Pfund; his brothers: Merle A. 
Pfundt and Louis Pfundt and his sister, Eleanor Burns.

Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday, March 17, 2003 at 11:00 
a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.  Officiating will be Rev. Daniel C. Meckes 
with private internment in Elm Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral 
home on Sunday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. and until 
the time of services.  Memorial envelopes for Faith Lutheran Church will be 
available at the funeral home.

Additional Comments:
Arthur was also predeceased by his Great Granddaughter Melanie Lynn Pfundt, 
daughter of William and Laura Pfundt who was accidentally excluded.
