Clark, 82, of Bay City, passed away Tuesday, May l, 200l at her residence. Reatha was born on July 12, 1918, in Lind Center, WI, the daughter of George and Pearl (Davis) Pixley. Mrs. Clark had resided in Bay City since 1985, moving from Harrison. She was united in marriage to Paul Clark on June 17, 1944. Reatha was a life member and four year past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and VFW National Home. Surviving are her son, Thomas Clark and wife Tina Clark of Centerline, MI, daughter, Sharon Allen and friend Mike Biskner of Bay City, MI; brother Wally Pixley of Tucson, AZ; sister, Gleneva Gidley of Frankenmuth, MI; three grandchildren, Kris McCleary, April McCleary, and friend Bob Harrington; Shannon and husband John Phelps; and three great grandchildren, John McCleary, Josh McCldary, Marissa Davis, two step grandchildren, Teresa and Tanya Clark. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul R. Clark and one daughter, Bonnie Gene Clark, and one sister, Hazel Shaver. Funeral Services were held on Friday, May 4, 200l at l:00 pm from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Mr. Michael Brandon officiating. Burial was held at Pleasant Plains Cemetery in Harrison. Memorial contributions can be made out to Heartland Hospice out of Bay City in her name. Arrangements were entrusted through Stocking Funeral Home of Harrison, MI.
