Blanch Magdeline (Szafranski) Siuda
March 26, 1918 – April 2, 2018
Blanch Magdeline Siuda, age 100, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2018 at her 
home with her family by her side.  She was born to Thomas and Magdeline 
(Satowiak) Szafranski on March 26, 1918 in Kawkawlin Township and resided in 
Crump most of her life.  She was a lifetime member of St. Valentine's Church, 
Beaver Township.  She married the love of her life Joseph H. Siuda on November 
20, 1937, he predeceased her on July 2, 1990.  Blanch loved to play bingo, spend 
time outside, cooking, baking and canning.  But most of all she loved her family 
and her dog Bear.  We will miss you mom, grandma and great-grandma.  Surviving 
are her children, Eugene (Romaine) Siuda of Davison, Pat (Wayne) DeHate of 
Crump, and Gloria (Randy) Reiss of Pontiac.  Eight Grand-Children, 13 Great-
Grandchildren, and 1 brother Victor Szafranski of Kawkawlin.  Blanch was 
predeceased by 7 brothers, Frank, Walter, Nick, Adam, Joseph, Anthony and Louis.  
A special Thank You to Grace Hospice, Anita and Jenny.  

Visitation will be at Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 
2-8 pm. A Prayer service will be held at 7 pm.  Funeral services will be Friday, 
April 6, at 2 pm at Prince of Peace - St. Valentine Church Campus with Rev. Fr. 
Nick Coffaro and Deacon Mike Arnold presiding. Blanch will lie in state from 1 
pm until the time of service, with burial to follow at St. Valentine Cemetery.
