Trepkowski, age 85 years, died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at her residence. She was born in Bay City on April 11, 1919 to the late John and Beatrice (Maloney) McDonough. Margaret was a member of St. James church, its Altar Society and had served on the Liturgy and Building Committees. She was a member of K of C Council 4102 Auxiliary and was a former president and secretary. Margaret was employed for 10 years with Dow Chemical of Midland as supervisor of secretaries and she also taught typing for several years at St. James High School. She loved bowling and golf and was extremely proud of being Irish. Surviving are her husband Ralph, Sr. whom she married on January 24, 1953; her three children: Patricia Trepkowski of Grand Rapids, MSgt. Timothy (Peggy) Trepkowski of San Antonio, Texas and Ralph Trepkowski, Jr. of Bay City; her six grandchildren: Kurt (Kelly) Menapace, Matthew, Joseph, Tara, Katie and Scott Trepkowski; her three great grandchildren: Kievan, Kylan and Kaiden; her sister, Elizabeth (Jerry) LeFevre of Bay City; her sister-in- law, Lorraine McDonough of Bay City and many nieces and nephews and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her brother and sister, John and Sr. Agnes Rita (Mary) McDonough, S.C. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in St. James Church. Margaret will lie in state in church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Jack Johnson will preside and entombment will be in St. Patrick Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. James Church or Bay Visiting Nurse and Hospice. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2:00 until 8:30 p.m. with the Altar Society reciting the rosary at 2:00 p.m. and the Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. in the W.A. Trahan Funeral Chapel. Margaret's family would like to extend a very special thank you to Bay Regional Medical Center, Bay Special Care Hospital, the Visiting Nurses and Dr. Kuchar for the wonderful care they gave her.
