JACOB ATKINSON
BORN JAN.25,1856
DIED MAR. 4, 1919

Engraved flowers on the topside of the stone. The stone is in a greenish 
colour.
Only a few yards away Mr Atkinson's friends, the Kormans, are buried. Please 
see the obituary.

Additional Comments:
 Mr Atkinson's obituary on March 5, 1919 in The Bay City Times Tribune: "Jacob 
Atkinson, 63 years old, died very unexpectedly at the West Side Hospital 
Tuesday morning. Mr Atkinson had his right leg amputated at the hospital about 
a week ago as gangrene had set in. He is survived by two sisters and one 
brother. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home 
of John Korman in Amelith. Interment at Monitor Cemetery."
