Died – At the residence of her son-in-law, S. P. Jaquath in this place, on the 
11th inst., Mrs. Mary Crawford, aged seventy-four years. Mrs. Crawford was 
born in Onondaga Co., N. Y.  After the decease of her husband many years ago, 
she resided with her daughter in Ohio, and subsequently removed to this place.
	Mrs. Crawford professed faith in Christ in her youth, and during a 
long and active life has been numbered with the people of God. Her physical 
strength was waning when she came to Benzonia, but her hope anf faith were 
unabated. She died possessing the confidence and respect of those who knew 
her. 
	There is a world we have not seen,
		Which Time nor Death can e’er destroy,
	Where mortal footstep hath not been,
		Nor ear hath caught its sound of joy.
	It is all holy and serene,
		The land of Glory and repose;
	And there to dim the radiant scene,
		The tear of sorrow never flows.
