Horace Johnson of this place, was accidentally killed by a rail road train in Springfield, on Monday the 21st of November. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Wright, well known to many of our people, and, we believe, two children by a former marriage, to lament his loss. The Springfield Journal says: Few men were better known throughout this portion of the State than Mr. Wright. He was a native of Bernardston, Mass; and for forty-seven years had been a resident of this city. For a great number of years he had been a member of the Second Presbyterian Church, and at all times had contributed of his means for the advancement of the cause of religion in our midst.
