Thomas Orville Kenney - Died May 19, 2005
BEULAH - Thomas Orville Kenney, 67, of Beulah, died Thursday, May 19, 2005, at 
his residence. He was born Oct. 3, 1937, in Traverse City, the son of Orville 
and Evelyn (Crow) Kenney.
Thomas was a life-long Beulah resident and had served as the Benzie County 
Sheriff and Undersherriff during the mid 1960s. He had been the owner and 
operator of the Cherry Bowl Drive-In for many years. 
When he wasn't working, Thomas enjoyed going for long car rides around Benzie 
County while listening to WLS on the radio. Most of all, he loved spending time 
with his friends.
Thomas is survived by his aunt, Vernice Nelson of Boyne City; his very close 
friends, Helaine and Jerry Atwell; several nieces and nephews; and numerous 
dear friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside committal services will be conducted Monday, May 23, 2005, at 11 
a.m., at the Benzonia Township Cemetery in Benzonia, with Pastor Dan Ingersoll 
officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Munson Hospice or to the American Cancer 
Society.
The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
