He was born Dec. 19, 1933, in Ann Arbor, the son of Bertie and Thelma (Frysinger) Crawford. Albert served in the United States Army from 1954-56. Albert was employed at Pet Milk Inc., in Frankfort for 34 years, until his retirement in 1988. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time on his property, farming, hunting and fishing. Most of all, Albert loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On Dec. 26, 1955, in Beulah, Albert married Carol A. Templin, who survives. He is also survived by five children, Alan (Susan) Crawford of Beulah, Mark Crawford of Thompsonville, Lodena (Edward) Benak of Williamsburg, Kenneth (Terry) Crawford of Benzonia and Lori (George) Thomason of Benzonia; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Blanche Crawford of Hastings, and Barbara (Eldon) Blood of Beulah; and numerous nieces and nephews. Albert was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Shirley Corey. Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, at Eden Bible Church in Beulah, with Pastor Dan Ingersoll officiating. Interment services will follow in Benzonia Township Cemetery.
