GARY W. EDINGER SR., 58, of Honor, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at home.

Arrangements are being handled by the Benzonia Chapel of McElduff-Jowett 
Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

HONOR — Gary W. Edinger Sr., 58, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at his home. He 
was born in Frankfort on March 7, 1948, the son of the late Paul and Esther 
Edinger.

Gary was a hard worker and a jack of all trades. He proudly served two tours of 
duty during the Vietnam War. Kind hearted and a friend to all, he especially 
loved his family.

Surviving are daughter, Agnes Edinger of Benzonia; son, Gary Jr. (Heather) of 
Interlochen; grandchildren, Trisha, Rachel, Jimmy, Garrett, Adrienne and 
Emilie; brother, Tom; sisters, Paulette Abshire and Georgie Ulberg; many nieces 
and nephews; and Kayla, his birthday present.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., today, Feb. 1, at the 
Benzonia Chapel of McElduff-Jowett Funeral Home. The funeral will be held 
Friday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m., also at the funeral home, with Pastor Dan Ingersoll 
officiating. Burial in the spring at Benzonia Township Cemetery. 

Memorials may be directed towards the family. 

The Benzonia Chapel of McElduff-Jowett Funeral Homes and Cremation Service is 
handling the arrangements.
