BENZONIA — Cleo Hill, 85, of Benzonia, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at The Maples 
in Frankfort.

She was born May 20, 1921, in Kentucky, the daughter of Henry and Carrie 
(Nicely) Brock.

Cleo was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being outdoors and going 
for rides with family and friends.

Cleo is survived by her children, Signe (Jerry) DeClark of Sterling Heights, 
Ola Reed of Benzonia, Belinda (Leonard) Ostrowski of Madison Heights and Jane 
C. Hill of Negaunee; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several 
nieces and nephews.

Cleo was preceded in death by her sister, Ola York; and her brother, Lindsey 
Brock.

Visitation will be held today, Oct. 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the 
Bennett-Barz Funeral Home in Beulah.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, at the funeral 
home, with Pastor Robert McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be in the 
Benzonia Township Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Maples or to Benzie Home Health Care.
