BENZONIA - Maryellen Catherine Moore, 69, of Benzonia, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 
2003, at Paul Oliver Long Term Care in Frankfort.
She was born Sept. 9, 1934, in Benzonia, the daughter of Ira and Mary 
(Carhartt) Moore. Maryellen was a graduate of Benzonia High School and she was 
a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Maryellen was very talented at needlework, and she enjoyed flowers, going 
shopping, and collecting trinkets.
Maryellen is survived by: her sisters, Edna Merrill of Frankfort, and Pansy 
Moore of Whitehall; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her half-brother, Francis; and her 
half-sister, Irene.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Oct. 6, at the Bennett-Barz 
Funeral Home in Beulah, with Pastor Steve Ayers officiating. Interment will be 
in the Benzonia Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Munson Hospice. Envelopes are available 
at the Bennett-Barz Funeral Home.
