Link b. 1938 ----------------------------- TRAVERSE CITY RECORD EAGLE - 12 Mar. 2005 Frederick Lloyd Link Died March 10, 2005 HONOR - Frederick Lloyd Link, 68, of Honor, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort. He was born Aug. 21, 1936, in Honor, the son of Lloyd and Mabel (Snow) Link. Frederick retired in 1990 from Petmilk in Frankfort, where he had been employed for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who loved being outdoors. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. On August 10, 1957, in Bendon, Frederick married Joanne J. Kuerth, who survives him. He is also survived by two daughters, LuAnn (Donald J.) Louisignau of Beulah and Penny (Kenneth) Deckard of Leesburg, Va.; three granddaughters, Erika Deckard, Sarah Louisignau and Joelle Louisignau; two brothers, Russell "Chuck" (Lois) Link of Honor and Ken (Bobbi) Link of Beulah; one sister, Cleora Beaton of Honor; one sister-in-law, Dorla Link of Honor; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frederick was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Joseph Link; and one sister, Mary Strickland. Visitation will be held today, March 12, 2005, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Bennett-Barz Funeral Home in Beulah. Cremation will take place following the visitation with interment in Champion Hill Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to Munson Hospice.
