Maples in Frankfort.
      Arrangements are pending from the Frankfort Chapel of McElduff Funeral 
Homes.

 Richard 'Dick' Leask
      Died September 18, 2000
      FRANKFORT - Richard "Dick" Leask, 66, of Frankfort, died Monday at The 
Maples in Frankfort.
      Richard was born May 27, 1934, in Frankfort, the son of Paul and Frances 
(Straubel) Leask. 
      He was employed by Smeltzer Canning Factory in the 1960's. He was also an 
avid hunter and fisherman.
      Richard is survived by two daughters, Kris (Rick) Green of Belding and 
Kathi (Scott) Gibbs of Belding; a brother, Paul (Liz) Leask of Kalkaska; five 
sisters, Lillian Marchand of Frankfort, Arlene Lett of Ada, Nancy (John) Volpe 
of Ada, Emily Bower of Allegan and Debbie Barth of Frankfort; and 
grandchildren, Tasha, Tiffany and Tabitha.
      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Frankfort 
Chapel of McElduff Funeral Homes, where friends may call from noon Thursday 
until the time of service; Rev. Richard Stoddard will officiate.
      Memorials may be made to The Maples.
