Goldie Leone Nelson
  A Celebration of Goldie's life will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, April 21, at 
the Peacock Family Chapel. Andy Rose and Rory Gillespie of the Lamar First 
Presbyterian Church will officiate.
  Interment will be in Goldie's hometown of Frankfort, MI, at the little 
Scandinavian Crystal Lake Cemetery.
  Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 20, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., and 
Thursday, April 21, until 2 p.m., at the Peacock Family Chapel.
  The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m., on Wednesday.
  Goldie Leone Nelson, 107, a Lamar resident since 1992, was born Oct. 22, 
1897, at St. Joseph, IL. She died April 17, 2005, peacefully at the home of her 
daughter, Beverly Augustine, in Lamar, CO. Goldie was preceded in death by her 
husband of 55 years, Dr. Joseph Nelson in 1976; by eight younger brothers of 
Michigan, and by a son-in-law, Cliff Augustine of Lamar who died in 1984.  
  Mrs. Nelson is survived by a daughter, Beverly Augustine of Lamar; by a 
granddaughter, Julie N. Vice of Lamar; by a great-grandson, Jason B. (Amy) Vice 
of Genoa; by a great-great-granddaughter, 18-month-old Skyler Jo Vice; by a 
sister-in-law, Bessie Fisher of Ann Arbor, MI; by many nieces and nephews, as 
well as by numerous friends in Lamar and Michigan.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice, a caring 
organization, or the First Congregational Church, at P.O. Box 1128, Frankfort, 
MI 49635 where Goldie was its oldest member.
  Peacock Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

GOLDIE L. NELSON, 107? , of Lamar, Colo., formerly of Frankfort, died 
peacefully at the home of her daughter, Beverly Augustine, on Sunday, April 17, 
2005. 
      A graveside service will be held at a later date. 
      The Frankfort Chapel of McElduff Funeral Homes and Cremation Service is 
handling the arrangements.
