BECK, of Fisher, Ind., and Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2005. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 13, 2005, at 2 p.m., at the Congregational Summer Assembly, with the Rev. Dinah Haag officiating. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Township Cemetery. A complete obituary will follow in Sunday's edition of the Record-Eagle. The Frankfort Chapel of McElduff-Jowett Funeral Homes and Cremation Service is handling the arrangements. ------------------------------- TRAVERSE CITY RECORD EAGLE - 12 June 2005 Wendy A. Beck June 7, 2005 FISHER, Ind. - Wendy A. Beck, of Fisher Ind., and Frankfort, beloved wife and mother, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2005. She was born Nov. 21, 1946, in Oak Park, Ill., to Richard and Lillian Fuhrman. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Baker University in Baldwin, Kan. She raised her family as an Air Force wife, truly the toughest job in the military. Wendy was a longtime summer resident of Frankfort and a member of the Congregational Summer Assembly. She is survived by her husband, Jim; sons, Tim and Brandon; grandson, Micheal; mother, Lillian; sisters, Susan and Laurie; along with countless friends; and six nieces and a nephew. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 13, 2005, at 2 p.m., at the Congregational Summer Assembly, with Reverend Dinah Haag officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Crystal Lake Township Cemetery. A charitable donation, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to a memorial fund in care of the Congregational Summer Assembly, 2128 Pilgrim Hwy., Frankfort, MI 49635.
