Clark Died March 8, 2003 FRANKFORT - Eloise E. Clark, 85, of Frankfort, died Saturday at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital, Extended Care Unit, in Frankfort. She was born in Frankfort on Jan. 20, 1918, the daughter of the late John W. and Olive (Hawley) Benson. She attended school in Frankfort. In 1937, she married Louis Luxford, who preceded her in death on March 26, 1976. Eloise then met and married John H. Clark. Eloise worked for the Frankfort Public Schools as a playground aide. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Frankfort. She enjoyed bowling, cooking and baking cakes for the teachers' birthdays at the schools, and spending time with family and friends. Eloise is survived by her husband, John H. Clark of Frankfort; two daughters, Mollie (Lee) Smith of Frankfort, and Connie Toms of Frankfort; three sons, Charles (Imogene) Luxford of Frankfort, Eugene (Emily) Luxford of Frankfort and Norman Luxford of Anderson, S.C.; two sisters, Shirley (Thams) Anderson of Frankfort and Beverly Kraft of Frankfort; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Eloise will be held in the spring at Crystal Lake Township Cemetery in Frankfort. Cremation will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery. The Oak Grove Cremation Center is serving the family.
