John C. Hartsuff, 82, of Marshall, and a former native of Birmingham, Michigan, 
died on Monday, February 28, 2005 at Maplewood of Marshall.
Mr. Hartsuff was born on January 26, 1923, in Highland Park, Michigan, to 
Clarence and Mildred (Chadwick) Hartsuff. 

Following service with the United States Marines during World War II, Mr. 
Hartsuff graduated from the University of Arizona in 1947. 

On May 28, 1948, Mr. Hartsuff married Frances Marian Jerome, she survives.

Mr. Hartsuff was an advertising executive for Gray and Kilgore, and later the 
Ross Roy Advertising Firm. He was affiliated with Trinity Episcopal Church. Mr. 
Hartsuff was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, and a member of the 
Marshall Executives Club.

Mr. Hartsuff is survived by three daughters; Ann (Jim) Rawsky, Karen (Jeff) 
Franke, and Mari (Mike) Mulholland; four grandchildren, Emily, Jeff, Michael, 
and Amanda; a brother, Peter Hartsuff of Sun City, Arizona, and a special 
cousin, The Reverend Donald Hartsuff of Higgins Lake, Michigan.

Services will be private.

Southfield Michigan 48076.
