PRAY - Louis C. Pray of Frankfort and Grand Rapids, Michigan, aged 75, went to be with his Lord on October 7, 2004. Born on September 2, 1929, and raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa, Mr. Pray was an engineering graduate of the University of Iowa. He served his country as an officer in the United States Air Force during the Korean war. He lived in Naperville, Illinois for 40 years, and was employed by Dresser Industries. In their travels, Mr. Pray and his wife visited all seven continents. Mr. Pray was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Velma (Keith) Pray, and a sister, Margaret Pray. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara (Porter) Pray; son, David (Mary Decker) Pray; and daughter Dr. Julie (Mark) Walton; his grandchildren James, Julie and William Pray and Molly Walton; his sister, Martha Woodard; and his brother Tom Pray. A memorial service will be held on October 23, 2004 at Christ Church, PCA, 2500 Breton Rd. SE, Grand Rapids. An additional service will be held in the Meeting House of the Congregational Summer Assembly, Frankfort, Michigan next summer. Interment will take place at Crystal Lake Cemetery, Frankfort, Michigan.
