Robert Martin
Died January 2, 2005
      BENZONIA - Robert Martin, 80, of Benzonia, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at 
his residence.
      He was born March 11, 1924, in Elberta, the son of Raleigh and Ella 
(Hensey) Martin.
      Robert was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. In his 
spare time, Robert loved woodworking.
      Robert is survived by his wife, Lorraine Martin of Benzonia; three 
children, Pat (Mike) White of Beulah, Tom (Linn) Martin of Benzonia and Robin 
(Dennis) Aldridge of South Boardman; a step-son, Phil (Anna) Boman of Benzonia; 
and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
      Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Martin; his 
daughter, Deborah Merriner; and his sister, Mildred Hays.
      Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
      The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, in Beulah, is in charge of arrangements.
