Loving husband of the Rev. Barbara Fry; devoted father of Thomas (Tessa) Fry of Lincoln Park, MI and Richard (Donna) Fry of Los Cruces, NM; dear brother to James (Rosemary) Fry of Ann Arbor, MI; grandfather to six children and uncle to six nieces and nephews. Dennis was a graduate of the Detroit Institute of Technology and attended Eastern Michigan Master s study program. He was a decorated sergeant in the US Army where he served in the engineering corps in Viet Nam. Dennis was an Asst. Vice President of the Community National Bank and was a community advocate and volunteer for numerous agencies including Baldwin Church and Shelter; New Bethel Shelter, Bound Together/ Kid s Caf and All Saints Episcopal Church. He was an operations and agency relations representative for the Food Bank of Oakland County and a member of All Saints Episcopal Church where he was an usher. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 23, 2004 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 171 West Pike St., Pontiac, Michigan. Family and friends may call between 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 22 at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to either All Saints Episcopal Church or Bound Together Children s Program.
