      SEBRING, Fla. - Branch L. Ryan Jr., 75, of Sebring, Fla., passed away 
Friday, Oct. 14, 2005.
      He was born in Jackson on Feb. 22, 1930, to Branch L. and Velma 
(Robinson) Ryan. A former Lake Ann resident, he moved to Sebring in 1995.
      Mr. Ryan was employed by GM Automotive for 37 years. He served in the 
U.S. Navy Reserves during the Korean War. He was a member of the Lions Club, 
Moose, American Legion and Eagles, and worked with H.E.R.O. (a disaster 
affiliation group) and S.E. Guide Dogs.
      He is survived by his wife, Edith J. McKlin-Ryan of Sebring; daughters, 
Gay Lynn Dick of Arizona, Erin Heckel of Michigan, Shannon Pavwolski of 
Minnesota, Paige Beauchene of Michigan, Pamela Castillia of Michigan; sons, 
Marc and Kevin Ryan, both of Michigan; brother, William Ryan of Michigan; 
sister, Margaret Masson of North Carolina; 19 grandchildren and eight great-
grandchildren.
      Memorial contributions may be made to a guide dog organization in your 
area.
      Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Stephenson-Nelson 
Funeral Home, Sebring, Fla.
