Harris, Jacqueline Kay  
 
HONOR — Jacqueline Kay Harris, 38, of Honor, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at 
Munson Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1967, in Traverse City, the 
daughter of R. Max and Beverly (Durga) Harris.

Jackie loved animals and was currently employed by Dave and Chris Nelson at the 
Platte Lake Veterinary Clinic in Honor. 

In her spare time, Jackie enjoyed dancing, boating, camping, snowmobiling and 
being outdoors. She also liked talking on her cell phone and going shopping. 
Most of all, Jackie loved spending time with her family. 

Jackie is survived by her special friend, Larry Wareham of Honor; children, 
Brent and Beverlie Yacks; stepchildren, David (Heather) Yacks of Interlochen 
and Jeff Yacks of Beulah; step grandchildren, Noah and Chandler Yacks; parents, 
R. Max and Beverly Harris of Honor; brother, Richard "Buzz" (Jeanne) Harris of 
Honor; sisters, Gale (Roger) Burmeister of Honor, Peggy (Randy) Lafleur of 
Beulah, Linda (Daniel) Fast of Honor and Paula (Randy) Eberhart of Honor; 
nieces and nephews, Tara, Bill, Trevor, Chelsea, Mandy, Scott, Brandon, Kyle, 
Stefanie and Nicholas; and great-niece, Ashley.

Jackie was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2006, at the 
Eden Bible Church in Beulah, where visitation will be held one hour prior to 
the service. Pastor Dan Ingersoll will officiate. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Eden Bible Church Building Fund.
