Carmean b. 14 July 1955 d. 28 Dec. 2006 Married 4 Sept. 1987 Nancy F. Carmean b. 28 Mar. 1956 ----------------------------------------- Carmean, David F. TRAVERSE CITY — David Franklin Carmean, beloved son, husband and father, passed away at home after a brief illness Dec. 28, 2006. He was born in Frankfort July 14, 1955, the son of Ellsworth and Phyllis Carmean of Thompsonville, who survive. On Sept. 4, 1987, he married his best friend and loving wife, Nancy F. Galvin, who survives. David leaves behind two beautiful children, Joshua and Kristina, who will sadly miss their dad. David attended Benzie Central High School and has been employed by Sara Lee for the last 25 years. He loved camping, bowling, fishing and hunting. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind a brother, Ron (Gerri) Carmean of West Olive; and three sisters, Judy (Mike) Rood, Karen Carmean of Thompsonville and Tracey (Rick) Geer of Traverse City. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. The family will receive friends for a memorial service at Peninsula Bible Church, 430 Fair Street, Traverse City, where he was a member, on Saturday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Philip Douglass officiating. A graveside service will be in the spring of 2007 at the Thompsonville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family he leaves behind.
