Visitation will take place today, June 10, 2004, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City. Funeral services for Grace will be held on Friday, June 11, 2004, at 10:30 a.m., also at the funeral home. -------------------------------------------------- TRAVERSE CITY RECORD EAGLE - 9 June 2004 CEDAR - Grace Ellen Kroupa, 59, of Cedar, passed away Monday, June 7, 2004, at her home. Grace was born in Flint on Nov. 1, 1944, the daughter of Jessie and Elsie (Brooks) Lake, and moved to Traverse City at the age of four. On Nov. 27, 1962, she married Gary Kroupa in Lake Ann. Grace enjoyed crocheting, travel, and casinos. She also enjoyed music and gardening and being on the farm. Her greatest joys were her family, children and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Gary; children, Terrie (Fred) Buchanan of Traverse City, Gwyn (Jim) Carter and Gary Kroupa, all of Cedar, Shirley (Patt) Anderson and Michael (Laura) Kroupa, all of Traverse City; grandchildren, Brooke Hendershott, Josh Hendershott, Holly Anderson, Samantha Anderson, Daryl Anderson and Christopher Kroupa; and her great-granddaughter, Gracelynn. Also surviving is her mother, Elsie Bryan of Lake Ann; her brothers and sisters, Elmer (Janice) Jackson, Bill (Romaine) Jackson, Dorothy (Larry) Bryan, Chuck (Arliss) Bryan, Louie (Nadine) Bryan, Pat (Jim) Morris and Katie Morio. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will take place at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Thursday, June 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 11, with the Rev.
