On Sunday the 26th ult. of Lung complaint, Mr. Enoch Osborn, consort to the above. Aged 61 years. There is something peculiarly touching in this dispensation of Providence. For nearly half a century this venerable couple had walked together sharing the blessings of life, and expectants of that blessed immortality which awaits the faithful. Mr. Osborn had been confined to his bed about one week, when worn out with care and anxiety, the chill band? of disease laid its hand upon the partner of his life, and in two or three days from the time the disease set in, she was laid in the cold embrace of death. Mr. Osborn survived her just 30 hours. Their funerals were held together on Monday last in the Church at Benton Harbor, which had just been finished by Mr. Osborn's own hands. The large concourse of citizens in attendance upon the funeral, was but a slight attestation of respect in which this venerable couple were held.
