The male quartette from the college rendered America at this time, following which Rev. Langdon gave a short talk on the life of Gen. Grant, after Rev. Bixler responded with a talk on the life of Gen. Lee. The quartette sang a southern melody at this time following which Rev. Carr spoke on the reconstruction period of southern history and Rev. Pettit on “Our United Country.” Instead of Memorial services being as given last week a change has been made. The sermon will be preached in the town hall, the Sunday before Decoration Day.
