They must all do something for a living. Hartman Bachman will move with his family to Indiana and start in business just as soon as he can sell his house. Wm. D. Casey will shed a few more crocodile tears, but no larger than those seen rolling from his eyes last night when he heard the official election returns. Albert Briese will first mingle with the trout in streams near Buchanan before making up his mind just what to do. John Bauman will go to Germany and fight for the Kaiser. John H. Forler will spend his time carrying out the duties of alderman and driving the blind pigs from the city. Geo. F. Reum, while not driving his automobile, expects to sit in the shade of the old apple tree. Jake Hahn, who can scarcely believe that the returns are true, will keep on counting the ballots. Of the firm of Pagle and Bresnahan, the former will move out of town and the latter will start a soft drink emporium. W.R. Back is practicing high wire stunts and will probably accompany H.W. Freed’s Dog and Pony show on the road. Al Earl will spend his time counting his money. Additional Comments: Of interest to Genealogists as it lists the names of several Niles business men File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/berrien/newspapers/nothingt144gnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/mifiles/ File size: 2.0 Kb
