Ackerman Rites Set
Three Oaks -- Funeral services for Roy Gilbert Ackerman, 62, of route , Sawyer,
will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Connelly-Noble funeral home, Three Oaks.
The Rev., Ronald Magnuson, pastor of the Harbert  Community church will
officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, North of Three Oaks.

Friends may call at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Ackerman was born Jan 20, 1909, in Bridgman, the son of Walter and Pearl
Lambert Ackerman

Surviving are his widow, the former Lillian Larsen, whom he married on Nov 22,
1930, in Michigan City; two daughters, Mrs. Bud (Karen) Christopher of St.
Joseph and Mrs. Ted (Patricia) Branson of Harbert; eight grandshildren; two
brothers, Chalmer and Laverne of Bridgman and two sisters, Mrs. William (Marie)
Backus of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Mrs. Victor ( Genevieve) Mathieu of
Roseville, Mich.  

Mr. Ackerman had been an electrician for the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant in
Bridgman.
