	John Aldrich died Wednesday morning at this home six miles north of Three Oaks.
 He was born Oct. 19, 1838.  He came to this state in 1854 with his parents from
Richland county, Ohio.  He is survived by a wife and daughter, Mande Elliott,
203 Mill street, also by one brother, Simeon P. Aldrich of Niles, who is the
last of nine children, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Anna Conrad of Niles.  Mrs.
Rapheal Johnston of this city is a niece.  Burial occurred at New Troy, Mich.
