Mrs. Rose Ann Snyder Alexander, 90, pioneer resident of Niles township, who
passed away last Wednesday at her farm home south of Berrien Springs, was laid
to rest in the Long Lake cemetery after funeral services held at 10 o'clock from
the late home.

  Mrs. Alexander, a well known and respected lady had lived her entire life near
her late home.  She had been ill for some time, her illness being caused by a
fall from a porch at her home a year ago.

  Her husband, MItchell Alexander, to whom she was married 58 years ago,
preceded her to the Great Beyond in 1913.  They had no children, but raised a
niece, Bertha Alexander, who died 26 years ago.

  Five nephews survive the deceased.

  Mrs. Alexander was a member of a church in Buchanan.
