ARCHER FUNERAL RITES HELD THIS AFTERNOON

	Funeral services were held this  (Thursday) afternoon for the late Mrs. Mary C.
Archer, who died at 9:30 Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Orville Huling on the Pokagon road in Berrien township.
	The services were held at 2 o’clock from the Clark Funeral Home and at 2:30  at
the Berrien Springs M.E. church, the Rev. R.B Spurlock, pastor of the church,
officiating.  Burial followed in Riverview cemetery south of St. Joseph.
	Pallbearers were grand-nephews of the deceased.
	Mrs. Archer, who was 81 years of age, was born in Niles township, February 24,
1852.  She was the wife of Filmore Archer who died a number of years ago.  Her
death brought to a close an illness of more than two years’ duration.
	The deceased is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Huling and a son Eddie LaMunion
of Watervliet, 22 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.

Brown who married Almira Williamson in Berrien Co., 5 Apr 1851.
