NILES- Services for Paul H. Cavitt, 75, of 1606 Cass St., Niles, Mich. who died 
at 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital of South Bend, following extended 
an illness, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Halbritter Funeral Home. Rev. 
William J. Fuerstenau, of the First Presbyterian Church, of which he was a 
member, will officiate. Burial ill be in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends 
may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

He was born May 5, 1905, in Oakland, Ill. He has lived in Niles since 1939, 
coming from Benton Harbor. In November of 1931, in Grand Rapids, he married 
Esther Lukins. She survives along with a daughter, Mrs. David (Marilyn) Ellerby 
of Fort Collins, Colo.; a son, Bruce Cavitt of Niles; and four grandchildren. He 
was a retired employee of Bendix. He had graduated in 1932 from Ferris State. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church memorial 
fund.
