NILES- Services for Mrs. Esther P. Cavitt, 73, of 1606 Cass St,. who died Friday 
morning in Pawating Hospital, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Halbritter 
Funeral Home. Rev. William J. Fuerstenau, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of 
which she was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Mission Hills Memorial 
Gardens. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial 
contributions may be made to the church.

She was born Nov.18, 1909, in Allegan County, Mich. On Nov. 7, 1931 in Grand 
Rapids, she married Paul H. Cavitt, who died in 1980. Survivors include a 
daughter, Mrs. David (Marilyn) Ellerby of Fort Collins, Colo.; a son, Bruce P. 
Cavitt of Niles; and four grandchildren. She was a retired piano teacher.
