Mrs. Dora E. Chapel, 84

BUCHANAN--Mrs. Dora E. Chapel, 501 South Oak street, died Saturday in the
Berrien County Hospital at Berrien Center.

	Born Sept. 2, 1868, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sirus Stevens,
Buchanan.  She married Francis M. Chapel in 1891 in Buchanan, and lived here all
her life.  
	Surviving are one son Orson, Buchanan; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Camfield; a
brother Frank Stevens, Seattle, Wash.
	Friends may call at the Swem Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held
Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. William B. Ruff of the Bethel Temple
officiating.  Burial will be in Galien Cemetery.

NB: There are factual errors in this obituary.  She was a daughter of Simon S.
and Susan (Madron) Stevens; Myrtle Canfield was sister.
She went by Etta through most of her life.  In 1880 census, she is listed as
Donetta.)
