Death of Mrs. Churchill

Mrs. Elizabeth, wife of Cyrus B. Churchill of this village, died yesterday and
will be buried at Buchanan Friday.  Her maiden name was Graves; she was born in
Jefferson county, N.Y., in July, 1808.  She was married in early life to
Sylvester Stevens and raised a large family. Two sons died in military service
and five children survive.  She was married to Mr. Churchill 14 years ago.  She
has been an invalid for several years and had not the strength at her age and in
her enfeebled condition to withstand an attack of the prevailing disorder which
is causing so much suffering in this section.
