The Grim Reaper
Entered Buchanan This Week and Gathered Several Citizens Home

	The shadow of death hangs over this community this week the grim reaper having
gone forth to the harvest. . .[Mrs. Myron Mead]. . .
	Monday morning our citizens were greatly shocked to learn of two very sudden
deaths that took place Sunday night.

	Mrs. Elizabeth Colvin, who has made here home in Buchanan for many years, and
living this winter with her sister, Mrs. Geo. Colvin on Detroit street, was
found dead in bed Monday morning.  She had been in good health until Sunday
evening when she complained of a pain in her side.  In the morning here sister
called her but receiving no reply, went to her room and found her dead.  She was
73 years of age.  The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from
the house.
