March 11, 1902, page 3 Niles Daily Star, Tues. March 11, 1902, page 3 Mrs. Alma Coveney, wife of the late Robt. Coveney, died at the home today in Buchanan township, seven miles north of Buchanan. To the family and immediate friends it has been known for some time that Mrs. Coveney was ill from a general breakdown. Her demise has cast a gloom over the entire neighborhood in which she resided. The parents of Mrs. Coveney are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beach, perhaps the oldest residents of Oronoko township and well-known people. One brother is Rev. John Beach, a Methodist minister stationed at Cassopolis. Another brother is Walter Beach of Chicago. A sister is Mrs. Darwin Crane a near neighbor. The children of the deceased are two sons—Clare and Lyle and Miss Fern Coveney. Mrs. Coveney was 43 years of age. She was a devoted mother and Christian lady. Funeral announcement later.
