Covert, 77, Lakeside, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Connelly-Novle funeral home, Three Oaks. Rev. John Bullock, pastor of the Lakeside United Mehtodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Saturday. Mr. Covert was born Jan. 13, 1894, in Lakeside, the son of Charles and Fannie T. Covert. Surviving are his widow, the former Viola Dewey, whom he married on June 4, 1917; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Geraldine) Glossinger of Lakeside, Mrs. William (Joan) Hamann of New Buffalo and Mrs. Phil (Sue) Eiche of Appalachin, N.Y.; four sons, Clyde of Kentucky, Howard of New Jersey, Jack of New Buffalo and David of Denver, Colo.; 28 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, William of Lakeside and Paul of New Buffalo and a sister, Mrs. Clyde (Ruth) Clapp of New Carlisle, Ind.
