Mrs. Covert died Sunday (March 3, 1991) in Vestal, N.Y. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. EST today and 2 to 9 p.m. EST Thursday. Mrs. Covert was born March 14, 1899, in Three Oaks. She had made her home with her daughter in Apalachin, N.Y., for the past six years. On June 4, 1917, she married Clydge H. Covert, who died Dec. 29, 1971. Surviving are two daughters, Geraldine Glossinger, Fife Lake, Mich., and Sue Eiche, Apalacbin; three sons, Howard Covert, New Buffalo, Jack Covert, Three Oaks, and David Covert, PalmdaW, Calif.; 24 grandchildren; many great-grand children; many great-great-grand-children; five sisters, Rosa Carp-penter, Michigan, Ella Reed, Ken-tucky, Agnes Archer, Idaho, and Maud Covert, Missouri; and three brothers, Loris Dewey, Berrien Springs, Mich., Bernard Dewey, Philadelphia, Tenn., and Frank Dewey, Hemet, Calif. A son, Clyde, and a daughter, Joan Hamann, are deceased.
