Davis to be Buried in Three Oaks Mrs. Al. Davis, who was the first white child born in what is now Three Oaks township, died this week at Riverside, California. Mrs. Davis was formerly Martha Love, the daughter of Richard Love, and she first saw light in the old Love Tavern east of Spring Creek. Mrs. Davis is an aunt of Birch and Guy Love of Three Oaks, and is related to Mrs. Harriet Love by marriage. The Love family near Rolling Prairie are also relatives. Mr. Eugene Davis of LaPorte was the brother of Mrs. Davis' husband. There are many other relatives, the Love family and the Davis family having many descendants.
