Sept. 18, 1951, page 2 Mrs. Winifred Byington Drolet, 53, of 13 North Fourteenth St., died at 8 p.m. Tuesday at her home. She had been ill since suffering a heart attack on Aug. 12. Mrs. Drolet, wife of Francis B. Drolet . . .Associated Package Liquor Dealers Association, was well known through her active participation in operating the Main-Oak Pharmacy in which she was a partner with her husband. She was born July 25, 1898, in Paris, Mich. and came here 25 years ago. On Aug. 29, Mr. and Mrs. Drolet celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. Surviving are: her husband, their children, Francis B. Jr. of Niles, Alfred A. of Big Rapids, Louis P., Daniel E. Mary W. and George W. of Niles.; seven grandchildren; one brother Harry Byington and two sisters, Mrs. PJ Redmond and Mrs. Loyola Moreland, all of Kalamazoo. The rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Pifer funeral home where friends may call and the services will be conducted at 10 am. Friday by the Rev. Cletus Rose at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Mrs. Drolet was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and of the Altar and Rosary society of the church.
