FRANK FORD She Seeks Many Climates In Search of Health, but Returns Home, Having Given up All Hope Lida Gertrude Hollenbeck was born in Berrien Township, Berrien county, Mich., April 8, 1874, and died at the home of her parents in Oronoko township, March 22 1906, aged 31 years, 11 months and fourteen days. She was married to Frank B. Ford September 26, 1900. To this union three children were born, of which Jane B. is living, aged five years. She was a kind mother and affectionate wife. She expressed herself as being ready and willing to die. She was a true, noble girl in every sense of the word, always ready and willing to help in any good cause. Mrs. Ford spent eight months in Alamagordo, New Mexico, in search of health where she made many friends. While there she attended the M.E. church and served as secretary of the Ladies’ Aid Society. She spent two months of this year in Asheville, North Carolina, without receiving physical benefit but formed many friendships which proved dear to her. The funeral was held at the residence of her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. J.C. Hollenbeck, March 24th, being conducted by Rev. Edwin Tench, and her remains were laid to rest in Rose Hill cemetery.
