Mrs. Charles Gilbert, 58, Dies After Long Illness

     Mrs. Charles Gilbert, 58, of Benton Harbor, died at the county infirmary 
at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday night after an illness of several months.
     The deceased, who was formerly Mrs. George Rextrew of Coloma, is survived 
by four daughters and two sons.  Kenneth Lawson resides at Grawn, Mich.  The 
second son, Floyd Rextrew, resides in Benton Harbor.  The daughters are Mrs. 
Nora Smith, Connersville, Ind.: Mrs. Lola Roberts, Hammond, Ind.: Mrs Beatrice 
Voris, Jackson and Mrs. Ireta Whitright, Benton Harbor.
     The body was taken to the P. A. Bowerman funeral home in Eau Claire, 
pending funeral arrangemnets which have not been completed.

Additional Comments:
Mary Eliza Gilbert is burried in the Coloma cemetery.  He headstone reads Mary 
Rextrew.
