Hamann NEW BUFFALO -- Carl H. Hamann, 64, of 15 South Barker street, New Buffalo, died Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at his home. Dr. Russell Vastine, Berrien coutny medical examiner, ruled death due to a cerebral vascular accident. Mr. Hamann was born Nov. 3, 1899, in New Buffalo, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hamann. He married Elizabeth Hass Feb. 18, 1928, in South Bend. He was a retired shear operator for Michiana Products company, Michigan City, Ind. He was a member of St. John's Church of Christ, the local Rod and Gun club and the Three Oaks Masonic lodge F. & A.M. Besides his widow, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles Schroeder, and a son, William, both of New Buffalo; a brother, Edwin of Mio, Mich.; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in St. John's Church of Christ. The Rev. Alfred Hardl of Chesterton, Ind., will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery where Masonic rites will be conducted.
