Buchanan Record, March 3, 1898, page 1
Betsey Hartline was born in Schuylkill Co. Pa. in 1833 and died at the home of
her son Mr. John McFallon in Buchanan township, February 25, 1898.  She removed
to Buchanan township when but # years of age and since then resided in Buchanan
township until her death.  In 1852, she she[sic] was married to Mr. James
McFallon, who died in 1875.  Sometime afterward she married Dominico Spenneta. 
The deceased was the mother of four children, two of whom, Miss Mary McFallon,
and Jr. John McFallon survive her.  She was ill about 3 weeks, cancer of the
stomach causing her death.  The funeral was held Sunday morning at 11 o'clock,
Rev. Eli Roos of Elkhart, ind. conducting the services.  Interment was made at
Bakertown.
